  • 01

Surface Prep — We clean and sand to remove soap scum, oils, and old coatings so the new finish bonds properly.

  • 02

Repair Work — Chips, cracks, rust spots, and scratches get filled and smoothed. Old caulking removed.

  • 03

Primer Coats — Industrial bonding agent adheres to the surface, followed by two coats of epoxy primer.

  • 04

Topcoat & Finish — 3-4 coats of durable topcoat, fresh caulking, cleanup, and quality check before we leave.

Refinishing Questions Answered

Refinished white kitchen countertops and cabinets
  • They're different names for the same process. We apply a new coating over your existing surface. Some people say reglazing for tubs and resurfacing for countertops, but the technique is similar.

  • Bathtubs, showers, sinks, countertops, cabinets, tile, fiberglass, cultured marble, laminate, Formica — pretty much any hard surface that's structurally sound.

  • Most St. George customers spend $450–$800 depending on condition and package. That's 70–75% less than a full replacement. We offer free quotes.

  • Use non-abrasive cleaners (no Comet, no bleach). Avoid suction-cup mats and don't let water pool on the surface. Treat it like a new surface and it'll last 10–15 years.

  • Our warranty covers peeling, bubbling, and coating failure under normal use. It doesn't cover chips from impact, damage from harsh cleaners like bleach or Comet, or standing water issues. Standard and Premium packages include a 1-year warranty. Our Forever Young package comes with a Lifetime Workmanship Warranty — if the finish fails because of our work, we fix it.

  • All the time. Hotels, apartment complexes, real estate investors — we handle multi-unit projects regularly. Volume pricing available.
